Charles "Pete" Gottschalk, 83, was born August 14, 1933, in Chicago, to the late Charles and late Rita Gottschalk and passed away November 13, 2016. Retired from Chicago Northwestern Railroad and 3M Corparation. Pete was the loving husband of Doris Mae (nee Loeding) Gottschalk; caring father of Debbie Maskus, Gus (Juli) Gottschalk, Lynn (Dennis) Baumgartner, Linda "Muff" Gottschalk; dear grandfather of Jake, Kelli (Ryan), Matthew, T.J., Wayne (Katie), Christopher, Dylan, and Tommy. Great-grandchildren on the way. Memorial visitation Wednesday from 3-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL, where services will be held Thursday 11am.
