Christine Ann Como, 72 of Des Plaines was born on February 27, 1949 in Chicago to Leonard and Shirley (nee Groh) Schultz and passed away on January 29, 2022. Christine was the beloved wife of Thomas Como; loving mother to Anthony (Laura) Como, and Rebecca (Adrian) Canady; cherished grandmother to Gibson Como, Graham Como, Grace Canady, Carmella Canady, and Analia Como; dear sister to Karen (Steve) Callebert, Robert (Kristine) Schultz, Charles (Christine) Schultz, John (Katrina) Schultz; dear sister-in-law to Joan (Ken) Duffek, and Janet (Jim) Hagel; and fond cousin and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL 60016. Prayers will be said Monday, February 7 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1280 Prospect Ave. Des Plaines, IL 60018 for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
