Domenico Pierri, 32 of Des Plaines, was born on January 30, 1984 to Vincent and Rosa (nee De Palma) Pierri and passed away on November 17, 2016. Domenic studied Social Work at Northeastern Illinois University and studied Addiction Counseling at College of DuPage. He also received his master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Domenic was a Clinical Social Worker for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, former Sergeant for the United States Army, a son, brother to Laura (Ryan) Marcus, nephew, cousin, uncle to Madelyn Marcus, and a friend to many. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Prayers will be said on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 9:15 am at the funeral home and proceed to St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016 for the funeral mass at 10:00 am. Entombment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
