Dorothy H. Hacker

Dorothy H. Hacker (nee Carnehl), 92 of Arlington Heights, life-long member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, was born on July 16, 1924 in Park Ridge, IL and passed away peacefully on November 7, 2016. Dorothy was preceded in death by Frederick Weigand in 1962, and the late Carl Hacker in 1990; beloved mother of Barbara (Ken) Danielczyk, Margaret Weigand, Dale (Pamela Karahalios) Weigand, Susan (Jack) Pruden, the late William (Terry) Weigand, Larry (Barbara) Hacker, the late Ginny (Charles) Harrison, and the late Michael Hacker; cherished grandmother of Hope (Keith), Todd, Scott (Lisa), Cody, Mark (Angie), Matthew, Tim (Brenna), Krissy (Sean), Will (Jenna), Daniel, Laura, Charlie, Pam (Biff); great-grandmother and aunt to many; sister of the 102 year old Gladys Saewert. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 4:00-8:00pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Dorothy will be lying in state from 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 260 N Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Interment will take place at Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, IL.
