Gerald W. “Jerry” Seelig, 81 of Des Plaines was born July 12, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elwin and Estelle (nee Wellman) Seelig and passed away October 31, 2016. Jerry was the loving father of Dawn M. (Michael) Pahlke and Lisa M. (John) Roycroft; cherished papa of Christopher and Alexandra, dear brother of Patricia K. Alberts and Michael W. (Lana) Seelig and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Highway/Rt. 14 at Rand Road) Des Plaines. Prayers will be said Friday, November 4 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mt. Prospect for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
