We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Geri.  Jack and I bowled with Ron and Geri in the Elks Bowling League at River Rand for many years.  We had so many laughs and enjoyed their company as well as the bowling, even though our team would not be asked to go on tour!  

Our sympathies to all of  you.  Although this is a difficult time, your memories of all the fun times at family gatherings as well as your pictures will help to ease the pain.  She is at home with the Lord and at peace--no longer suffering.  May God  bless  your family.

Ronnie left a message on our machine that Geri had passed Tuesday this was thursday.it was a shock.shes always beey Soo beautiful and vivacious..he also left a message on my dad's messages but he never looks at messages.the 4 girls decided not to tell my dad until Julie my oldest sister can get there Monday.he will take it hard.he loves Ronnie and Geri like family.he calls Ronnie doc.he is getting dementia and still doing ok but time to have a daughter live with him.he will be crushed to hear of geri.we have known them our whole life.im 61 and grew up with Dawn Marie ,Kenny and doug.our parents played the card game rook and we went over to each other's houses in our pajamas.we have lots of pictures like that.they were at our wedding and I will always remember how beautiful she was and her hearty laugh.im at work right now doing 12 hours.work till 1930.wull pray for peace for the family and always have fond memories of geri.half if Ronnie's ❤️. Ronnie know you are loved by the poage girls and in our thoughts and prayers.lovingly.esther poage wistrom.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Geri to your family.  I will never forget my last two trips to Chicago and her very loving kindness to me during my visits with her.  She made me feel as part of her family as she understood the loss of my own mother.  We shared a wonderful family dinner night together and her joy and laughter and insight were so special.  I will never forget that night and I'm so glad to remember her that way! Please know that you all are in my special thoughts and prayers at this time along with the rest of your family. She was a loving and caring aunt. She was always carefree and up beat. She always had a smile on her face and was always emailing us jokes. She was a blessing to our family and will be greatly missed. She will always be in our hearts and in our prayers. With all our love Flo and Scoop

To Ron and family, may I extend my deepest sympathies.

Geri and I bowled together (the Park Ridge Manorettes) for many years.  We chatted and enjoyed many laughs (and occasional snacks) while still managing to bowl three games on Tuesday afternoons.  And just by coincidence we discovered that she went to  St. Michaels High School in Chicago in the same class with my sister-in-law, discovering what a small world we live in.  We managed to keep in touch by sending humorous emails to each other during the pandemic.  
Geri was a lovely lady.  I was happy to have had the pleasure to know her. She will be missed.
  

Geri & I have been friends for 68 plus yrs Ron & my late husband have been friends since 1st grade They honored us by getting engaged on our wedding day & they were married the following yr We are godparents to each other’s children  Geri,Ron & Dawn came to my late husband’s Richard’s memorial in June  Rest In Peace my dear friend Heaven has  another Angel 

My prayers and sympathy to Geri 's family. She was my teammate at bowling many times and i had a lot of fun with her. I always admired how she wouldn't let anything stop her from bowling . She was a sweet lady and will be missed.
