Hormoz Sanjar

Hormoz was a loving partner and dedicated father. He would endure anything for his family no matter how hard or painful. He had a wonderful life being an incredible father and amazing husband who supported his wife in helping her open a Montessori school. He built a house for his family and instilled great knowledge onto them. His friends would say he was a very lovely, kind, and forgiving man who would help anyone in need. He loved the outdoors and spent much time hiking, camping, and skiing with his friends and family. In the end, he was surrounded by those who loved him dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Soossan Nimrouzi; and 3 daughters, Negheen, Neghar, and Neelufar Sanjar. They miss him and are forever grateful for the wonderful and joyful life Hormoz provided for them.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. A funeral service will take place Saturday, August 10 at the funeral home beginning at 10AM. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Des Plaines.
