I am so sorry for your loss Marianne.  I’ve known Jimmy since I was 5 years old and I loved the guy. I have tons of memories of being around Jimmy as a kid with my dad.  He was a great friend to my dad and a good guy. Hope you guys are doing ok.

Jimmy was a very close friend of mine and will be dearly missed.  This summer we put up a fence together somewhere in Des Plaines and spent many hours working on his condo.  We painted and ripped out carpet and fixed things, we went to the lumber yard and to the dump, we listened to music together and talked about the state of the world.  Then we'd drink beers and stuff and talk more about other things.  He worked on my condo too, our condos were next door so I'd see him all the time.  I always thought he would be there to talk to and stuff.  Now he is gone and I never had a chance to say goodbye to him.  But I did tell him I loved him several times this year, it felt kind of creepy at the time, but now looking back on it, I am glad I did.   God Speed Jimmy!  

My loving brother how can I say goodbye to you.   My best friend, partner in crime and music buddy.  We did alot together for many years.  I love you always and forever you will be on my mind and in my heart!!

I always remember Jimmy picking you up from work with a big smile on his face. How kind he was to  go pick up and deliver a desk I bought and his overall warm and funny personality 
I am heartbroken for you and the entire family.

People come in and out of your life like waiters in a restaurant, but if you were lucky enough to have met Jimmy you would always remember him. 
Jimmy and I grew to be friends in high school. Quick with a smile and a great sense of humor, he quickly became like a little brother to me. 
We would hang out at Hotter Than Mothers, got him a fake ID to get into the bars with us (bad idea) and shared vacations and memories into our early 20’s that I still recall even today. 
But alas, as it seems happens all to often, in our mid 20’s we drifted apart. Marriages, distance and life demands seem to do that to friendships.
And although I have only seen him a handful of times in the past 20 years those times were special. Like reconnecting with a lost relative, when we were together we feel right into the same routine. 
My deepest condolences to the entire Mader and extended family. I pray for Gods grace to guide you and His peace to be upon you. God bless you all.

I have had the pleasure of knowing since the  4th grade..  I remember all the things we did as a  kid.. skitching, snow ball fights.. walking to  Brentwood,, and Dempster.. standing on the bus stop going to Forest  View..  playing army 
with Matt and Mark fields. Campouts at the Cabreara.. house.. 4th of July on Debra drive. Climbing the high tension poles in the park.  Hitch hiking to Ranhurst to pick up chick's. Hanging out and eating French fries at striking lanes.. Jimmy knew my whole family and they all liked him he was like another family member and 2nd son. He ate with us many times.  The best every Jimmy story I have is one day we were walking to Dempster smoking my mom Road up behind us on my bike because I forgot my book(  go figure lol )  and suprized us jimmy put the smoke out on his stomach so we would not get caught.... that's what kind of a person Jimmy was...  Jimmy was a awesome guy.  A guy who would give you the shirt off his back.
A guy who had your back.
Caring. A devoted husband. A great brother and son. 

For me Jimmy  was a great friend... I'll miss him very much. I'll miss pizza at moretties.  I'll miss sitting on my patio with a fire having a few beers just shooting the breeze. I'll miss bears games,at draft picks. I'll miss his smile and laugh..

Jimmy helped me in many ways. He put new windows and siding in my house. Built a deck in my yard. Any time I needed his help he was always there. 

We became very close over the past 20 years . We tried to help each other as much as we could. 

Jimmy I'll miss you and never forget you.

Marianne and family, my prayers and condolences to you and your family. 
I have so many memories of Jim and Bob and the stories of their adventures. And his smile was one of the best. What a sweet man he was. 
Try to hold onto that thought and envision that smile as you grieve his loss. My thoughts are with you. 

I only met Jimmy a handful of times. The most recent superbowl he gave me some money advice that I won't forget. He was funny and wise.  He will live on through the good memories we have of him. My prayers for everyone in the family.

My heart breaks for you and your family.  I have so many memories with Jim...
I lived in his house as I 1st moved out on my own.
We golfed together...  Not well for either of us.
We worked together...  He taught me so much about construction.  I learned how to use a break because of Jim.
We had a few cocktails and spend many nights talking about life....
I DJ'd your wedding and have so many great memories from that night.  One of my favorite pictures of Deana and myself was from that night. 
We even got in a few scraps.... but as friends always do, we never let that get between us.
You will be missed my friend.
