June Laverne Johnson died December 14, 2014 in Sun City, Arizona. She was born August 15, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Beatrice and Martin O. Larson.Raised in Chicago, she married Glen H. Johnson in 1946 and moved to Glenview, Illinois to raise her family, which included two boys, Donn and Dale. In 1984 she and Glen moved to Sun City.She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Joy. She is survived by sons, Donn Johnson (Stephany Brown), Dale Johnson (Lisa); grandchildren Scott Johnson, Ashley Mayo (Russ), Megan Johnson (Ian Markiewicz), Molly Brown, and Lily Brown. Visitation Monday, December 22, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, (Northwest Hwy. / Rt. 14 at Rand Rd.) Des Plaines, IL. Interment will be held at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave. Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association appreciated.
