Visitation for Maria Giometti (nee Banducci), 79, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Family and friends will meet for Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 524 N. Rush St., Itasca. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Born April 28, 1931, in Italy, she died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Windsor Park. She was the wife of the late Dante Giometti; mother of Anthony Giometti, Robert (Anne) Giometti and David (Kristin) Giometti; grandmother of Carl (Allison), Craig, Gianna, Alexa and Mia; sister of Carlo (Rina) Banducci, the late Amato (Rosa) Banducci and the late Flora Banducci; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
