Marjorie A. Wood, 85 of Niles, Illinois was born October 23rd 1937 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to the late Robert and Marjorie (nee Johnson) Wood and passed away peacefully, January 14th 2023, surrounded by her close friends. Margie never married and never had children, but touched many lives. Margie attributed Sister Christelle Wiskus, FSPA to saving her from a bad place and time in her life. Margie spent most of her adult life as roommates with her best friend, Jane Miller, until health issues separated them in 2018. Margie spent her final years making new friends at Celebrate Senior Living in Niles, but still spoke to Jane everyday. Although Margie had no family, she was dearly loved by many and will be missed terribly. Funeral mass will be at St. Juliana Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. Interment at Ridgewood Cemetery will be private.
