Marla Salemi

Marla was a devoted single mother to her two daughters, who were the center of her world. She built a life rooted in love, resilience, and strength, always putting her family first. She was always the light in every room and made people laugh uncontrollably wherever she was present. As a professional hair stylist, Marla took great pride in her work and formed meaningful connections with the many people she served throughout her career. She was known for her warmth, creativity, and the care she showed to everyone who sat in her chair.

Marla’s presence, spirit, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her daughters, family, friends, and community.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:00-1:00 PM on Friday, February 6th at the Armenian All Saints Apostolic Church & Community Center, located at 1701 Greenwood Rd, Glenview, IL 6002. Funeral service from 1:00-1:30 PM. A procession will then depart to Ridgewood Memorial Park, located at 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016, for interment. Attendance at the burial is optional; all are welcome.

Marla will be remembered for her love, strength, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those around her.
