Martin Gordon Mendoza

Gordon was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Erika Mendoza, and a proud father to Kevin, Monica, and Justin. He will be reunited with his beloved son, Justin Mendoza, who passed in 2023. Together again, they will surely be enjoying a peaceful motorcycle ride side by side.

Gordon had a beautiful soul that touched the lives of so many. He lived with passion and heart in everything he did. When we think of him, we remember his dedication to training in jiu-jitsu, the way he perfected smoking meat on his Traeger, his love of skateboarding, wrestling, and the joy he found spending time with his dogs. He truly embraced life to the fullest.

Gordon had a gift for bringing people together. His welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home, and his vibrant personality made him the life of every gathering. He leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, strength, and love.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.

Memorial Visitation will be held on February 28, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Memorial Service at 5 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL.
