Me and my mother send our condolences. Also I remember that my first Irish dinner was at ur house David. Mary was awesome saucea! She was and is a great woman! She will be missed and loved as alway's. Xoxo

Mary, my amazing sister, you were a jewel in my life. You sparkled with generosity, creativeness, talent, caring for family and friends and an intense sense of humor. You loved a party. I remember one at our house when you brought wrapped prizes for robbers bingo. Of course, everyone wanted the big prize, which turned out to be a toilet seat and there was a small prize which turned out to be a band-aid can full of dryer lint. You were always the "cool" aunt. You left us too soon but I am so lucky to have had you in my life.

I was deeply saddened to have learned of Mary's passing. Mary, along with my childhood memories, goes hand in hand. Mary lived right next door to us on Olcott Avenue. I have the fondest and funniest memories with her and my sister and the rest of the gang on the block. Mary was always the creative one. She could sew, bake, cook and always thought outside the box. Mary also spearheaded our Pollution Club and we crafted numerous letters to President Nixon. We also built the best snow igloos on the Northwest side of Chicago! I was blessed to have Mary in my life and now she remains in my heart. Heaven needed another beautiful angel to look down upon you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Rest in peace my friend

My dear friend Mary. I am at a loss for words right now.  I can not believe you are no longer with us here on earth.....I know you are now with your mom, dad and  the love of your life Dave, rest in peace my dear friend.

Mary hired me to work in her private in home child care center....best job ever, best boss who became a great friend to me.  We've been through a lot, I learned so much from her.  I learned how she strong she was after the love of her life  Dave passed, she became strong over night for her and her children.
I learned to step up and take over the center when EVERYONE! Including Mary came down with the chicken pox/shingles, running a child care center was no joke, from Open to close. 
I learned how great of a mother she was to Erin and David,encouraging success, showing love, laughter, and the utmost admiration to be their mother. 
I learned that when she knew the bouncer at a club, meant that a 16 year old kid like me got to go as well. 
I learned that her laughter was contagious, and I found myself learning  to laugh things off, take memories and making them stick.  I learned that her brilliant mind always strived for the best in people, looked at the good. 

She was the first person I told that I joined the Marines, her reaction is forever in my brain, and I can  still see her sitting on that rocking chair, slamming her hands in the arm rests, smiling and screaming "What?! Pati What?!" And busting out into a huge laugh giving me a hug.  She had the best hugs, the best laugh and sense of humor.
I will miss that, I will miss you, and I will always love you Mary.

My dear friend Mary,
As you reunite with your family on the other side, we here on earth morn you passing, Gods speed, may you rest in peace. I am sure you are with David (Mr. Griswold), your brother, father and your beautiful mother, I miss her too. I will always be grateful to you for the loving way you cared for my son, how you were there for me in my time of need and how I was able to be there for you in return  when David passed. I never knew one little house full of tiny angels house could generate so much laundry!!! I truly could not have raised my son alone without you; you were a blessing to whomever you met. Mary, my dear friend I imagine you are with Dave now, holding hands and laughing once more together. I will miss you dearly more than words can explain.  You have touched so many people as you were  genuinely a wonderful soul.
As you would often say "muaaah I love ya" I return those words to you ...Muah I love ya Mary!

So sad to hear of your passing Mary may you rest in Peace and I hope you and David are together once again.

We were stunned and saddened by the sudden loss of your dear Mom, Mary!  Take comfort in knowing that she loved you dearly and will forever be your guardian angel.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

Mom you loved us fiercely, and protected us always. You were our role model and our rock but also our fun. You live on in us and Matteo.

We are forever thankful to have had our son go to Mary's daycare these last 3+ years. He just said today "Put on your thinking cap. That's what Ms. Mary would say to me." Our thoughts and prayers are with Biny, her son & daughter, Son in law, grandson & all her family and friends.
