Mun Hwa Lee

While working for the family textile business in Korea, he focused on textile design, development, and client relations. Utilizing his artistic gifts, he created original textiles that pleased the clients. He was extremely gregarious and was deeply liked by his clients.

He married Byeong Ok Lee in 1970. They built a family together as a young couple. In 1979, with their three daughters, they immigrated to the United States to be reunited with his mother, father, and several other beloved family members.

He was a man of many artistic talents including photography where he displayed a keen eye for colors and composition. He loved taking pictures of his daughters. His creative interests and love of fashion inspired them to appreciate those things as well.

He was a foodie before it was a trend, seeking out and savouring delicious food with friends and family. He appreciated high-quality cuisine.

He was an avid hiker who loved spending time in the mountains with his friends. He loved nature and animals. You can sense the happiness and joy he must have felt in looking at photos taken during those years.

He was generous to his friends and family to a fault. He frequently picked up the tab when dining out in social settings and was embraced by his friends as a giver.

Mun Hwa Lee is survived by his wife, Byeong; his three daughters, Helen Kim, Susan Chiappetta, and Jane Lee; and his granddaughter, Imogen Chiappetta. He was an adoring father. He is also survived by his sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for Mun will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Swan Lake Chapel, 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016, following a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service to follow from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.

하나님의 사랑하는 아들 이문화 성도님께서 2023년 4월 30일 향년 77세로 하나님의 부르심을 받으셨습니다. 이문화님은 1945년 8월 18일에 태어나셨습니다. 그는 부산 동아대학교에서 공학을 공부하셨습니다. 한국에서 섬유 사업을 운영하시면서, 디자인 개발 및 고객 관리에 집중하셨습니다. 그의 예술적 재능을 활용하여 고객들에게 만족스런 제품을 만드셨습니다. 그는 고객들에게 깊은 호감과 사랑 받는 사교적인 분이셨습니다.

그는 1970년에 이병옥씨와 결혼해서 젊은 부부로 세 딸과 함께 1979년에 미국으로 이민 오면서 부모님과 친척들을 다시 만났습니다.

그는 색감과 구도에 뛰어난 감각있는 사진기술을 비롯해 여러 면에 예술적 재능이 뛰어났습니다. 딸의 사진을 찍는 것을 좋아하셨습니다. 그의 창의적인 관심과 패션에 대한 사랑은 딸들에게도 영감을 주었습니다.

그는 미식가 였으며, 맛집을 찾아서 친구들과 가족이 함께 즐기셨습니다. 그는 고급 음식를 좋아하셨습니다.

그는 산에서 친구들과 시간 보내는 것을 좋아하는 열정적인 등산가 였고 자연과 동물을 사랑했습니다. 사진을 통해 그가 그 시절 얼마나 기쁘고 행복했는지를 알수 있습니다.

그는 친구들과 가족들에게 관대한 사람이었습니다. 함께 외식을 할때 자주 계산을 하셨고, 친구들에게 늘 베푸는 사람이였습니다.

유가족 으로는 이병옥님, 세딸 그리고 손녀가 있습니다. 그는 자상한 남편이자 아버지 셨습니다. 또한 여자 형제들과 조카들이 있습니다.

"내게로 오라, 너희에게 쉼을 주리라." (마태복음 11장 28절)

"항상 사람들의 가장 좋은것을 보고, 가장 나쁜 것은 용서하고 잊어버리는 마음 그리고 하나님께 향한 믿음을 잃지 않는 영혼을 가지도록 기도하라."
