Richard Moritz, 91, of Arlington Heights was born on March 25, 1931, and passed away December 13, 2022. Richard was the beloved husband of Erna (nee Auweck) Moritz; loving father of Christina Moritz and Richard (Nichol) Moritz; devoted Opa of Adam, Paige and Cameron Moritz.
Richard worked at Svobada’s Menswear as a tailor and worked for 18 years as a custodian at Prospect High School.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9 am until time of prayers at 11:15 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL, 60016. Funeral mass will follow at 12:00 pm noon at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd, Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
