Ruth L. Madoch formerly of Des Plaines. Visitation for Ruth L. Madoch (nee Wessel), 89, of Glen Ellyn, will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Born June 17, 1922, in Hammond, Ind., she passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, in Wheaton. Ruth loved golfing and bowling. She belonged to a singing group called the Harmonaires. She was the wife of the late Allan J. Madoch; mother of Dr. Terry (Jeanne) Madoch and Craig (Pitsa) Madoch; grandmother of Laura (Chad) Martin, Shannon (Jake) Ballinger, Kelly (David) Braun, Jason Madoch and Kristin (Jeff) Bushaw; great-grandmother of Danielle Ballinger and Kyle Martin; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
