Susan was the beloved wife of the late Gerald W. “Mike” Butler; dear sister of the late Maureen (Charles) Bowling and the late Priscilla (Thomas) McGaughan. Susan was the beloved aunt of her nieces Sharon (James) Stoddard and Bernadette Hoey and her nephew Charles (Stavroula) Bowling and all of their children. Susan had a 40 year career in the banking industry including 30 years at St. Paul Federal Bank. Susan enjoyed watching golf tournaments and Notre Dame football.
A visitation for Susan will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines. A funeral Mass will begin Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church, Des Plaines, 1280 Prospect Ave., Des Plaines, followed by a committal service at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines.
