Suzette Jane Oates of Palatine Suzette Jane Oates (nee DeBoor), 65, was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Oates; loving sister of Louis "Buddy" (Louise) DeBoor; cherished aunt of Stacey (John) Hall, and Scott (Melissa) DeBoor; proud great-aunt of Shannon and Zachary Hall; and treasured daughter of the late Louis V. and Marion DeBoor. Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, IL 60016, where funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
