Thomas Jay Creasbaum

Thomas Creasbaum age 65 of Des Plaines IL passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 5th, 2024. He is survived by the love of his life Pamela Creasbaum (Tabor) married for 37 years; three children: Cody (Amanda) Creasbaum of Hoffman Estates IL, Riley (Dillon) Stettler of Baxter MN, and Banning (Barbara) Creasbaum of Glen View IL; two siblings Beth (Anthony) Onofrio of Lyndon Station WI and Linda Chandler of Manhattan IL; sister-in-law Anne Creasbaum of Valparaiso IN; along with many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jr and Jean Creasbaum, and brother Charles Creasbaum III.

Tom's celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 16th 2024, at Moretti's; 1799 Busse Road, Mount Prospect IL 60056. Friends are welcomed to join the family in sharing a meal and memories from 2pm-5pm.

Tom was a retired mechanical engineer of Oakton Arms Retirement Home with 27 years of service and dedication to the people who lived there. He loved anything comic book related, reading, fishing, and being outdoors. One could always find Tom in his nook under the large pine tree in his backyard with a crossword puzzle and cigar. He will be wholeheartedly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
