She was a loving wife and devoted mother who supported her family in every way possible. Down-to-earth and selfless, she expressed her love most clearly through her cooking. No matter how tired she was, she would cook up a storm whenever she could, making sure her family had three proper meals a day — and often more.
She met her husband, Huan Le, at a local English class. Together they welcomed a daughter in 1997 and a son in 2004. After moving to the United States in 2009, her life became a journey of adjustment and growth that she had never imagined. Although she was unable to finish college herself, she was determined that her children would, and she supported them wholeheartedly in pursuing their education and dreams.
Over the past 19 months, her health declined significantly following her diagnosis of ALS, yet she faced her illness with quiet strength and grace.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We will miss her easygoing nature, her wonderful sense of humor, and the delicious meals she so lovingly prepared. Life will never be the same without her.
Thank you for everything you did for us. Your love will remain in our hearts forever.
Born September 27, 1972, in Vietnam, she was the beloved wife of Huan Le and cherished mother of An Le and Tri Le.
Visitation Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1pm to 8pm, with Funeral Service from 3pm to 5pm at Oehler Funeral Home, located at 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
