Wanda Soltykiewicz, 88, of Des Plaines was born November 24, 1933 to Kazimierz and Julia (nee Kal) Zawlocki, passed away December 19, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Soltykiewicz; loving mother to Joe (Ann) Soltykiewicz, and Eva Chapman; fond grandmother to Erika (Dean) Vardijan, Steven Soltykiewicz, and Natalie Soltykiewicz; dear sister to the late Alicja Strachowski, and the late Genowefa Bielski. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016 (Corner of Northwest Hwy. / Rt. 14 and Rand Rd.). Prayers will be said Thursday, December 23 at 9:45 AM at the funeral home and proceed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7211 W. Talcott Avenue, Chicago, for the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. After mass we will then proceed to Maryhill Cemetery for final prayers in the chapel.
