Yong Kyu Kim

하나님의 사랑하는 아들 김용규 (시몬) 성도님께서 2022년12월 21일 (수) 향년 85세로 하나님의 부르심을 받으셨습니다.

Yong Kyu was the loving father to Jeannie SoLee (Kim) Bolda, son-in-law Matthew Bolda; dear grandfather to Ashley Bolda, Matthew Gordon Bolda (aka: Gunner), and foster grandchildren Joshua Lieb, and Caylee Bobula; cherished brother to Yong Sung (Hyun Soon) Kim, the late Young Sam Kim (Sook Hee), late Eun Oak Kim, late Eun Sook Kim, late Eun Ja Kim, and late Kyung Ja Kim (sisters); and a great uncle to many nephews and nieces.

First and foremost, Yong Kyu was a dedicated, loving and caring parent to Jeannie, his only child. He extended that same love to Matthew, his son-in-law, and his grandchildren. He was loyal and hard working, serving as a transportation manager for Haitai Company in Seoul, Korea. Also, he was a welder at Blaw-Knox in Gary, Indiana. Yong Kyu retired as the Chairman at Ace Young Shipping Company where he worked with his youngest brother. He loved to fish and golf and was an excellent golfer.

김용규님은 지니에게 헌신적이고 사랑과 배려심 많은 부모였습니다. 그분의 사위 Matthew와 손주들에게도 똑 같은 사랑을 베푸셨고 성실하고 충성스런 일군 이셨습니다. 그는 Haitai 회사의 (서울) 운송 관리자로 열심히 일하셨고 또한 인디애나 주에있는 Blaw-Knox회사의 용접공이였습니다. Ace Young Shipping 회사에서 동생과 함께 일하시다가 회장직으로 은퇴하셨습니다. 그는 낚시와 골프를 아주 좋아하셨고 골프 실력은 뛰어났습니다

Visitation for Yong Kyu will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Paul Chong Hasang Church, 675 Dursey Lane, Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by a Funeral Mass until 11:30 AM. Graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 12:15 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.
