David I. Rakowski

David was born on January 25, 1981 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a graduate of Dexter High School Class of 1999. David was an expert installer of all things electronic such as TV equipment and sound systems. David was a cook in the restaurant industry.

David is survived by his mother, Darlene (John) Ganz; father, Mark (Lisa) Rakowski; sister, Gabrielle Rakowski; maternal grandparents, Robert & Delores Wyman; five aunts, Jamie DeFlorio, Brenda (Keith) Uutinen, Cathy(Donald) Hassett, and Sandy Soule; three uncles, Bobby Rakowski, Gary Rakowski and Kevin (Cheryl) Rakowski, and many cousins. He will be especially missed by his girlfriend Kerrin Treas. David was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents, Carl & Marilyn Rakowski.

Friends may visit on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 3410 Broad Street (at Fourth Street), Dexter, Michigan 48130. Burial will follow at Pinckney Cemetery in Pinckney, Michigan. In lieu of cut flowers and flowering plants, cactus, bamboo or a donation to the family would be appreciated.
