Michelle Lynn VanBoven

Michelle Lynn Visel VanBoven of South Lyon, MI, born October 29, 1968, age 44, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Arbor Hospice after a three year battle with breast cancer. Surviving is her husband, Andrew. She was also an amazing mother to her four children; Emma, Zachary, Grace and Katherine. She was the youngest of the family and will be sorely missed by her brothers; Rick (Mary), Jim, Allen (Mary) and David (Sarah) and her numerous nephews and nieces. Michelle was supported by an incredible network of family and friends who gave her the courage to bravely fight her breast cancer. She was her kid’s "biggest fan" and loved to host parties and spend time with family and friends. Michelle was a huge Kid Rock fan and also enjoyed her summers at Portage Lake and meeting friends at German Park. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Shirley (Redies) Visel. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15th from 1-4 and 6-8 with a Rosary at 8:00 at the Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 3410 Broad St. , Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday the 16th at 11:00 with visiting from 10:00 until time of Mass at St. Joseph’s Village Catholic Church, (at the corner of Fourth and Dover), Dexter, MI.
