Andre Joseph Turcot

On Wednesday morning, December 25, 2024, Andre Joseph Turcot was embraced by our Lord and left his earthly home for his heavenly home. He died peacefully at the Yarmouth Hospital. Andre was married to his beloved wife June for the past 18 years. They experienced a wonderful life together, with family and friends. They had lots of precious memories travelling and experiencing religious sights together, especially their trip to Jerusalem and also wonderful memories with their motor home. Andre spent 7 years in the Canadian navy as a navigator on a ship, and held management positions as his career. Andre's faith was very important to him. He loved the Lord with all his heart and he and June had an active prayer life together. He was faithfully and actively involved with St. Patrick's Church in Digby. He had great memories from his time at Cursillo and also belonged to a weekly prayer group. He was very generous in giving when the need was there both locally and abroad. He loved feeding the birds every day and keeping up with current world events on the news. He especially enjoyed Life Site News. Andre leaves behind his wife, June; his son, Christian(Jennifer); his son, Andre (deceased)(Karyn); his step sons, Joey (Rosa) and Joe (Vonda); his grandchildren, Felix and Gaia, Alexandra and Victoria; his great granddaughter, Ellie. His siblings Jeanine, Gisele, Louise (James), Gilles (deceased), Gerard (Denise), Robert (deceased) Paulette, Jean-Pierre, Diane (Daniel), and Michel. A reception will follow at the church.
