Gidney, Beverley Edith (Cameron) age 87 of Tideview Terrace, Digby and formerly of Mink Cove passed away September 17, 2010 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Laura (Dawson) Cameron. Beverly was a member of the MacKay United Church , Ottawa. She enjoyed curling and was a member of the Digby Curling Club. She loved gardening, making jams and pickles and had a wonderful sense of humor. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Ingram; daughter Kathleen Ethel Diane Gidney, Mink Cove, Digby Co; son Steven Charles (Janis) Gidney of Sackville, NS; grandchildren Stephanie, Laura, Beverley, and Nathaniel all of Halifax. She was predeceased by her son Norman Ingram Gidney. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday from the Zion United Church, Sandy Cove. Rev. Peter Atkinson will officiate with interment in the Zion United Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Donations in memory can be made to the Zion United Church, Sandy Cove.
