Brenton Joseph Merritt

Merritt, Brenton Joseph - age 17 of Digby, passed away December 21st, 2012 as a result of an auto accident. Brenton was born April 21, 1995 in Digby. He is survived by parents, Ronald and Angela Merritt, brothers, Barry (Rianne) and Brody also girlfriend, Madisen Goodwin. Brenton loved spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of his truck he built with his dad. He loved lobster fishing with his Uncle Brian and driving with his brothers. Brenton is also survived by maternal grandparents, Wayne and Jeanette Snow, paternal grandmother, Pat Merritt, Aunt Andrea (John) Weir, uncles, Brian (Kelly); Glenn (Deanna), Mark (Trish) and Darryl Snow, cousins, Janelle (Adam), Patrick, Colton, Kennedy, Brayden, Andrew, Nathan, Lyndi and Logan. Brenton was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Ellery Merritt and Uncle Barry. Visitation 7-9pm Sunday, December 23rd at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (245-2525) funeral Service will be at 11am Monday, December 24th at Digby Regional High School. Pastor Mark Cress presiding. Donations in memory of Brenton may be made to Digby Neck Fire Dept. or a bursary for rugby/soccer at Digby Regional High.
