Wade, Cyril Leonard – Age 90, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2015 in Digby General Hospital. Cyril was one of nine children to the late Charles and Hazel Lee (Guest) Wade of Hillsburn. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving overseas with the artillery. Cyril is survived by his wife, Sheila (Sibley) Wade, Seabrook; brother, Karl, Hillsburn; daughters, Tanya (Colin Marshall), South Range; Heather (Derek), Digby Neck; step-daughter, Michelle (Robert), Smith’s Cove; step-son, Michael, Calgary; from his first marriage he is survived by sons, Gerald, Digby; Stephen (Louise), Port Lorne; Robert, Digby; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Cyril was predeceased by his first wife, Edith Ellis; brothers, Emdon, Elmer, Malcom, Kenneth, Wilfred; sisters, Elaine and Ruth. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. In respect for Cyril’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
