David John Doucette, age 68 of Plympton passed away on August 10, 2017 in Digby General Hospital. He was a son of the late Charles and Lillian (Prime) Doucette. David really enjoyed being outdoors, often found fishing, hunting, snowshoeing and ATV-ing. He was a humble man and a hard worker, working as a fish-cutter and in tree logging. He is survived by daughters, Lisa, Donna and Katherine; sisters, Anna, Caroline, Barb, Mary, Sally and Janet; brothers, William “Billy”, Junior, Lloyd and Ronnie; grandchildren, Jenna, Patricia, Hunter, Chloe, Emma and Karli; great grandchildren: Parker, Ava and Paislee; also many nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by wife, Zelma Thibodeau, infant sister Shirley, infant brother Jimmy and his brother Cecil. No visitation by request. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday August 16, from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby.
