Born in Truro, he was a son to the late Carl and Ruth (McCullough) Wright where he grew up with brothers, Michael and Bobbie. Dave loved being a teacher and loved all the students he taught during his many years teaching at Barton and Digby Elementary Schools. He had a strong faith and was a member of Holy Cross and St. Patrick’s Catholic Churches where he was in the choir, taught catechism, sang at numerous services and also taught english to Father Marek.

Dave took the time to listen and help if someone was going through a difficult time. He was a proud Dad and loved his sons and grandchildren dearly. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, students, teachers and those whom he has met over the years.
