Dickie George Larramore

Larramore, Dickie George – Age 62 of Digby peacefully passed away on August 30, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. He was born in Digby, the son of Christena (Potter) Larramore and the late Lloyd Larramore. Dick spent many years as a mechanic working at the Shell and other locations. He went on to work at the Digby Save Easy until he developed kidney failure. After receiving treatment and transplant, for the next 16 years he went on to enjoy gardening, spooling and raising his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed assisting in coaching his son's baseball teams and was recently an active member of the Digby Lions Club. Here he put his time and effort supporting and growing their Farmer's Market with pride. Dick enjoyed good conversation with friend or stranger alike and was always there for anyone in need. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Louise; his son, Daniel (Karoline), Digby; and a daughter, Sandra (Michael) Carty, Digby. He is also survived by a brother, David (Joanne) of Elmira, ON; sister, Debbie (James), Little River; granddaughter, Katherine; two grandsons, Liam and Logan; many nieces and nephews all of which he deeply loved and cherished. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Jaynes Funeral Home in Digby (902-245-2525).
