Enoch Junior "Junior" Peck

Peck, Enoch “Junior” 77 of Bear River, passed away in Annapolis Royal Health Centre Saturday February 11th, 2012. Born September 9, 1934 in Greenland, Annapolis Co. Junior was a son of the late Enoch and Ella (Lutz) Peck. Junior was a cook at C.F.B. Cornwallis, later at Digby General Hospital, retiring in 1994. Junior was a member of the Bear River Baptist Church, Bear River Fire Dept., Bear River Health Clinic and an associate member of the Bear River Legion Branch #22. Junior volunteered for many groups including the Trimper Family Reunion Committee. Junior will be missed greatly by all his family and friends, especially his dog Roxie. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillas (Trimper), Bear River; son, Lindsay, Edmonton, Alb.; sisters, Martha Bourassa, Digby; Alice (Willis) Trimper and Joan (Don) Wright, both of Bear River East; brothers, Howard (Mary), Bridgetown and Orrin (Becky), Yarmouth. Besides his parents, Junior was predeceased by sisters, Daisy and Dorothy. Visitation 7-9pm, Tuesday February 14th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (245-2525) also where the Memorial Service will be at 2pm, Wednesday February 15th. June Trimper presiding. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations in memory of Junior may be made to a charity of choice.
