

Everett Bevington Hall, age 80, of Digby, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 after a 5 year battle with PSP (a form of Parkinson’s) in Valley Hospice, Kentville with his loving wife Carthal and daughter Wendy by his side. Born in Middleton, NS, he was a son of the late Irving and Marguerite (Simms) Hall.
Everett was a well known and respected land surveyor who loved his job. Owner/operator of Scotia Surveys Ltd in Digby and Shelburne servicing all of Nova Scotia for 50 years. He was a part of many organizations in his community throughout his life, he was involved with the Boy scouts, the Lions Club as well as a member of the Digby Fire Department. He loved hunting, fishing, music and to travel.
Everett is survived by his wife, Carthal (Millett) Hall; daughters, Trudy Veinot of Kentucky, Wendy (Scott) Sollows of Port Maitland; son, Tony Hall of Digby; sisters, Pauline (Gerald) Comeau, Shirley (Ronald) Melanson, Kathy (Larry) Elliott, Betty Milbury, Barbara (Charles) Clayton; grandchildren, Chad Thorburn, Jacob Sollows and Brett Hall. Besides his parents Everett was predeceased by son, Corey Hall-Harnish; brother, John Hall; sisters, Ruth Connors and Beverly Hall. Cremation will take place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18 from 6-8 at Jayne’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 19 at 1pm from the Digby Hall on the Digby Pines Resort. Celebrant Diane Axent officiating. Live stream is available on the day of the service at: https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/48720
