Faron was a lover of sports and an avid Boston Bruins fan. He played hockey from the age of 8 until he graduated from Islands Consolidated School. Faron got to live out his love of hockey through his son Cohen, enjoyed teaching Cohen the rules of the game and had many proud moments watching his son showcase his sportsmanship on the ice and as a team player. Faron’s boys were his world, he loved Cohen and Caleb so much and truly was a #1 Dad. Faron struggled with anxiety and often failed to see just how incredible a father he was, he always felt he fell short of all he should be no matter how much he gave of himself. It was a battle he fought constantly.
Faron was loved by so many, he could fit into any conversation no matter the age. He had the utmost respect for the elderly and enjoyed listening to their stories. Faron had many an ole buddy. He was the first to lend a helping hand no matter the place, time, or circumstances, creating a huge circle of friends. Faron loved music and jamming on his guitar. He was delighted to grab a mic any place, anywhere and sing songs he loved. Occasionally he’d entertain us with some dance moves. Our hearts will constantly reflect on those memories. Faron loved clothes and what a stylish dresser he was. Sporting the best of any and every brand out there. He’d chuckle as we admired or complimented his attire saying “my Frenchy treasures man.”
Faron had many different jobs over the years and for the past several years was a roofer. He worked diligently and took pride in his work, always proud of every masterpiece he completed. He was recently employed with Level 3 Contracting and enjoyed working with his close friend and boss Steve Dykens, he loved Steve like a brother. We will be eternally grateful to Steve who showed so much love and concern for Faron over the past few months. To all his friends that heard his voice and gave him time and comfort, we as a family want to thank you.
There is so much to say about Faron, he truly was an undefinable energy. We know Faron would want his family and friends to remember the good times. No one could make you smile or laugh like Faron Elliott. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A grave side service will be held in Tiverton at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Valley also at a later date. Donations in Faron’s memory may be made to Mental Health & Addiction Services.
May you always remember him with a smile.
