Florence Regina Ossinger Titus

Titus, Florence Regina – 91, formerly of Centreville, Digby Co. passed away April 25, 2011 in Tideview Terrace, Digby. Born December 7, 1919 Florence was the daughter of the late Erma and Maynard Ossinger. Florence loved to play bingo and cards, and she loved her dog Scooter. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking, and doing crossword puzzles. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by husband Gerald Sr.; granddaughter Tammy, sisters Pearl and Bernice, brother Stewart, and an infant son. Florence was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her sons Nelson (Donna) Titus, East Ferry; Gerald (Mabel) Titus, Kings County; Irvin (Jennifer)Titus, Digby; grandchildren Adam, Anita, Merrill, Regina, Brenda, Benjamin, Samantha, Nathan; great-grandchildren Morgan, Sabastian, Dawson, Cody and Kennedy; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9pm today in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525) where the funeral will be 11am Friday April 29th. Reception to be held following the service at Digby Neck Firehall. Interment in Union Burial Cemetery in Lake Midway. Donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Tideview Terrace.
