

Henry worked as a vendor for the Bill Lynch Show for over 30 years, he was known for his cotton candy and candy apples. There was never a dull moment with Henry, he was easy going and full of laughter. Henry enjoyed playing the slot machines, wrestling, loved horses, the outdoors, ocean views and a good drink of Lamb’s. Henry very much enjoyed playing cribbage with his late wife Jane and many friends. He adored kids, family, friends and Koda the dog.
Henry is survived by caregiver and friend, Tammy Upton, who was honored to care for Henry; her daughters, Brittany, Katelyn and his two buddies, CJ and Bryce. Also surviving are sister, Irene Rafuse; sister in law, Nancy of Bridgewater; brothers, Albert (Ella) Rafuse of Bridgewater, Harold Rafuse of Alberta, several nieces and nephews and good friend, Bernie of Digby.
Besides his parents Henry was predeceased by brother, Bruce Rafuse and sister, Winnifred Rhodes.
Thank you to all of the palliative care team and VON in Annapolis and the Digby Hospital 2nd floor nurses and staff for their compassion and support. Special thanks to Jasmine (My Jazzy) and Wendy for their help while he was at home.
As per Henry’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Henry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
