Hilda Mae Graham

Hilda Mae (Melanson) Graham of Lake Midway, Digby Co 75, left this world on the morning of May 27, 2022. Her last moments where spent at Tideview Terrace in Digby surrounded by the love of her daughters.

Born April 10, 1947 she was a daughter of the late William Stephen and Lillian Grace (Baker) Melanson.

Hilda spent most of her life caring for other people. She devoted her life to raising her four daughters to be strong independent women. She was seen by many as being a cranky and often stubborn woman but to those closest to her would have seen her softer side and the unconditional love she had for her family.

She leaves behind her husband William "Billy" Russell Graham of Lake Midway; daughters, Lillian Elaine, Digby, Sherry Lynn (Robbie) Fraser, Panama Beach , Florida, Annette Marie (Gary Smith), Sydney and Rachel Dawn (Tracey Gidney), North Range; grandchildren, Andrew Thomas William Fraser, Comox, BC, Shelby Mae Amero (Matthew Hicks), Halifax, Courtney Mae Doucette, Wolfville, and Evan William Doucette (Emily Sabean), Wolfville; great granddaughters, Scarlett Lynn Margaret Fraser and Adalynn Rose Marie Hicks; sisters Ethel(Wilfred) Saulnier, Deep Brook and Joyce (Randall) Ryan, Gullivers Cove; brother in law, Lloyd Haines, Lower Sackville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Haines.

A private family graveside service will take place at Union Cemetery, Centerville. Donations in her memory may be made to Tideview Terrace or Union Cemetery.
