Idella Mae Morine

Idella Mae Morine – Age 99, passed away peacefully Monday May 9th at Tideview Terrace, Digby Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late Minard and Leah Chute. Idella was born on March 19th 1917. Idella was the leader of the Bear River Baptist Church Baby Band, a lifetime member of WMS, and a member of the Philaphea Class. Idella had a passion of knitting and crocheting and left a lasting, loving impression on all who knew her. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Gordon Howard Morine, and son, Howard Austin Morine. She was the loving mother of 11 children. Mae Lyon (William), Vermont; Gerald (Evie), Bear River; Barbara Coffey, Cape Breton; Elaine Lavoie (Roland), Lower Sackville; Marilyn Mullen (Clifford), Digby; Wilma Thibideau (Dean), Fredericton; Bernie (Beverly), Bear River; Gloria Wright (Leigh), Bear River; Sherry, Bear River and Deborah, Bear River. Idella will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 1pm at Bear River United Baptist Church on Friday May 13. Rev. Earl Waterman and Rev. Donald Robertson will preside. Visitation Thursday May 12, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Jaynes Funeral Home Digby, NS.
