Jack E. Turnbull

Born on March 20, 1952 in Digby, Nova Scotia. Besides his parents Percy "Jake" and Dorothy Kathleen (Burrell) Turnbull, he was also predeceased by a sister Marian (Hugh) MacDonald. He is survived by sisters Patrica O’Brien, Susan (Donald) Amero, brothers Ross "Peter" (Sandra) and Bryan (Faye). He will be missed by his many specials nieces and nephews Lisa, Paul, Stacey, Craig, Joey, Scottie, Brandi, Tiffany, Brandon; great nieces and nephews Stephen, Lauren, Melanie, Brody, Owen, Finn, Beau, Eva.

Jack was the owner operator of Basin Dental Lab for over 52 years before retiring in 2019. Jack was a kind and gentle person and loved talking to his many friends and would help anyone in need. His favourite spot in Digby was on the Promenade overlooking the Annapolis Basin and standing by the Joe Casey Plaque. He was a veteran fireman for over 30 years with the Digby Fire Department. Always with a smile, he enjoyed his daily walks to Tim’s and Subway. He loved his yearly hunting trips with Boo and his hunting buddies.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne Funeral Home, Digby. A graveside service will be held at a later date and interment at Fairview Cemetery, Digby, N. S. Donations in Jack's name can be made to Admiral Digby Museum or Friends of Feral, Digby, N.S.
