Angela and family. My sincere condolence. Jordan’s legend was an inspiration to us all. He was a brave, loving father and husband who shared his love of nature to all. Passing by his beehives will remind me of his courage and love of life.  May his bees bring you the comfort he had while with them...I know my bees have comforted me during my time of loss. On behalf of the entire Mackintosh family, I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Angela and all of Jordan’s family and friends. Words fail us in this time of such tremendous loss. We met Jordan and Angela while Peter and Jordan were both undergoing chemotherapy in Yarmouth.  Jordan was an inspiration to all who met him. His strength,  love of life and family, as well as his compassion toward others will be his legacy to all who have had the  benefit of knowing him and we feel privileged to have had that opportunity.  Our sincere condolences to Angela, his sons and extended family.  Your earthly journey is over but your inspiration lives on in the lives of those you have touched. RIP

I don't feel that we can say anything that hasn't already been expressed by so many.  We did not know him personally, but the love that he exuded for life, & the love everyone has shown is evident. I remember having my mom in law, Willy  with me and she did not want to go outdoors from the hospital .  She was not herself at this time.. Jordan was called and he held the door open and she walked right out and into the car.. He was kind and made a difference to us .

Saddened to read this today. I became friends with Jordan in 2002, while attending NSCC Burridge while he was enrolled in the LPN program.  Over the duration of the school year, Many memories were made with this guy.  
My thoughts are with his family at this time

As Jordan’s aunt, I had the joy of witnessing and sharing in his birth and making many beautiful memories throughout his years as a young boy and man. He was always a gentle, quiet soul with an inquisitive mind. May his angel spirit fly free with his Uncle Larry & his Nanny Hewey whom he shared a deep bond with. Sending my condolences to Jordan’s wife, Angela, his sons, Felix and Gabriel, to his sister Caitlin, his stepdad, Wayne, and to my dearest sister, his mom, Anita, and to all that loved him. He will be forever cherished and held within our hearts.

 I remember working in the ER with Jordan and just getting to know him,  he introduced himself as Jordan and jokingly said "and my last name is Morgan ". I laughed (he did as well) an said "yeah right Jordan Morgan" and it wasnt until awhile later that I realized he was serious and I was laughing at his name. Of course I apologized  ☺ he was always so positive and did his part ensuring the ER ran smoothly. My heart goes out to Jordan's loved ones ❤

I have had the great pleasure of teaching Jordan’s son Felix this year. After reading some wonderful memories and comments here and knowing what I do about Jordan through Felix’s stories, I know for sure that his kind spirit and love for life and family will live on. We are so very saddened to hear of Jordan's passing after his long struggle with his battle with cancer. He was a kind and gentle human being and portrayed both of those characters in his nursing skills. My husband was included in the care Jordan gave at DGH ER on more than one occasion and Jordan  was so kind during his care. 
He will be greatly missed!

Jordan was truly an earth angel, leaving lasting memories not only to his wife and children, also to family, extended family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, the community, the province and even beyond, and to people he had never even met!
That was Jordan.
Hearing all these beautiful memories being shared is truly overwhelming.
It is amazing how one person could have had so many good words for others, and a way about him that was so memorable and inspiring.

I first met Jordan in 2003 when my Mom was at DGH. He was the most gentlest and caring nurse I ever had the honor of knowing. It certainly was his calling. His positive outlook on life was contagious, as was his smile.  Greatly missed by all those who knew him.  My prayers are with his entire family and friends. Rest in peace Jordan. You will always be in our hearts.  If we were to take a page from your life, perhaps it would be to live each day with kindness in our hearts and make everlasting memories. One conversation we had at the Superstore lead us to agree that ‘living in the moment’ is so important.  You are an inspiration.

I had the pleasure of teaching Jordan how to play cribbage. He was a quick study and it was not long before he was beating me. I taught Jordan this one thing, but he taught so many what it is to be a kind, polite, loving man. He will most surely be missed. I am proud to have counted him as a friend.

I am so, so very sorry for your loss.  He had inspired our son at the age of 8.  Our son seen a picture of your beautiful family on Facebook and asked what it was about, as I was telling him about the struggle of getting treatments he said “O, no. that’s their daddy”  and immediately wanted to help.  Our son spent weeks collecting bottles and  returning them to  donate the money he collected to help Jorden.  While only raising a modest amount he learned so much along the way.  Jorden inspired one child and that child learned just one person could make the biggest difference in another person life.  He was able to present his donation to Jorden at a local fundraiser.  On the way home he beamed with pride that he was able to help.
I feel your loved one will continue to inspire us all!

I'm so sad to hear the news of Jordan's passing. He was one of the most selfless people I've ever known. He cared, he shared, he touched the lives of so many. He will be well remembered and sorely missed. God used this special man as a tribute to humanity.  Each small gesture will be ever cherished.
