

MACDONALD, Judith Jean (Robbins), age 73 passed away at Valley Regional Hospital on March 18, 2020. She was a daughter of the late Glendon and Jean (Hewey) Robbins. Born in Digby and raised in Smiths Cove she spent most of her adult life living in Clementsport. Judy spent the last 10 years of her life in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home.
Through the years Judy enjoyed a variety of crafts including, baking, rug hooking, ceramics and most of all hand quilting. She loved to read, especially westerns and royalty. Judy always looked forward to her “treats and papers.”
She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Everett, Cornwallis Park; Julianne (David) Walsh, Clementsport; sons, Mark (Sharon) Everett, Centerville; Brent (Doreen) Everett, Waldec; sisters, Joanne (Ken) Smith, B.C.; Cindy (Gary) Bremner, Alberta; brothers, Keith (Carla) Robbins, Smiths Cove; Lloyd (Linda) Robbins, Rossway; Neil (Joy) Robbins, Smiths Cove, Gene Robbins, North Range; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Judy was predeceased by her husband Edward MacDonald ; brothers, Donald Robbins, Ricky Robbins and grandson Mark Patrick Everett.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A private family interment will take place at Smith Sulis Cemetery, Smiths Cove, Pastor Nathan Waterman presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to a charity of your choice. A special thank you to the staff of Annapolis Nursing Home for their care, kindness and support over the years.
