Mr. Keith Allen Lewis

Lewis, Keith Allen – 78, It is with sad and heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Keith was called to meet his Lord and Savior July 3, 2010. Born in Danvers, Digby Co. Keith was a son of the late Harry and Fannie Lewis, and son-in-law of the late Donald and Dorothy McCullough. Keith was a member of the South Range Christian Church, South Range Digby Co. Keith was a fur farmer and a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed many years in the woods with his brother Harry. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing and trapping. A highlight of each year for Keith were family trips to Keji. Family meant more to our Dad than anything else, and we knew it. Keith is survived by his loving wife Verna; daughters Kathleen (Craig) Glavin, and Darlene (Eugene) D’Eon; grandchildren Keith (Jacquelyn) D’Eon, BJ D’Eon, Nick Glavin and Jenna Glavin; sisters Lennie Sabine, Truro; Doris MacFarlane, Beaverlodge, Alberta; Verna (Earle) Sabine, Riverdale; brother Kenneth (Amy) Lewis, South Range. Keith was predeceased by brothers Harry, Glidden, Reginald and Donald; sister Kathleen. Visitation 2-4 and 6-9 pm Tuesday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525). Funeral will be held 2pm Wednesday in South Range Christian Church, Les Barr and Craig Glavin presiding. Interment in South Range Cemetery.
