Maizie Marshall

MARSHALL, Maizie Virginia- Age 87 of South Range, passed away Tuesday November 29th, 2016 in Digby General Hospital. Born in South Range, she was a daughter of the late Forest and Gertrude (Sabean) Hill. Maizie taught school for many years ending her career at Barton School where she will be fondly remembered by many students. She enjoyed walking in the fall leaves, ocean waves, camping, guitar music and she loved being with her family. Maizie is survived by daughters, Diane (Scott) White; Brenda (Mark) Marshall; son, Ronnie Marshall; daughter in-law, Maxine Marshall; sisters, Arlene MacKichan; Vi Parnell; Donna (Mike) Baxter; grandchildren, Shauna, Shelly, Sheri, Sheldon, Kimberly, Stephanie, Kara, Kasha, Kourtneay, Kierden; several great grandchildren also many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Maizie was predeceased by her husband, Eldred Marshall; son, Randy Marshall; brother, Clarence (Verna) Hill. Visitation will be 2-4pm, Friday December 2nd from Jayne’s Funeral Home Digby (902-245-2525). A celebration of Maizie’s life will be held at 3pm Sunday December 4th, from South Range Christian Church. Mr. Mark Elley and Mr. Darrell Haines will preside. Interment in South Range Cemetery.
