

Sanford, Malcolm L. – 84, Clementsvale; Annapolis County passed away August 10, 2010 in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Clementsvale, he was a son of the late Walter and Reta (Fraser) Sanford. Malcolm was a veteran of World War ll. Malcolm was employed at CFB Cornwallis as an electrician, and was also a member of the Fire Dept. He was a past owner and operator of a gas station in Clementsvale. Malcolm sold and serviced televisions and appliances. He was a school bus driver for the Annapolis school district. Malcolm enjoyed camping and being with people. Malcolm is survived by daughters Ann (Jim) Schulte , Yarmouth; Marci Sanford, North Range; Cheryl Gavel, Hilltown; sons Ron Sanford, Cole Harbour; and James Harlow; sister Louise, brothers Oliver Sanford, Hillsburn; Laurie (Mary) Sanford, Lansdowne; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Malcolm was predeceased by brothers Truman and Cyril, daughter Gail Sanford. There will be a graveside service at 11 am on Friday August 13, 2010 at Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Mark Thren officiating. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Annapolis Community Health Centre for the loving care Malcolm received.
