Margaret Maggie Ellen Carter Gaudett

Gaudett, Margaret “Maggie” Ellen – 79, of Digby, passed away May 2, 2011 in Tideview Terrace, Digby. Born in Tower Hill, Charlotte Co. NB, Maggie was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sara (McLaughline) Carter. As a teenager, Maggie was employed with Ganongs. She was later employed with Digby General Hospital, in the kitchen, for over 20 years until retirement. Maggie was a selfless person, always putting her family first. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Maggie is survived by daughter Sarah (Tom) Sherman, Digby; son Reg, Digby; sister Bessie Arseneau, NB; grandchildren Kevin (Michelle)Rawding, Digby; Angela Denton, Lower Sackville; Dylan (Jenn) Gaudett, Williamswood; David Gaudett, Digby; Kathryn Sherman, Digby; great granddaughter Danielle Denton, Digby. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Reginald, brothers John, Freeman, Charlie, sister Florence. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm today in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525) where the funeral will also be held 4:30pm on Friday May 6th, 2011. Rev. Donald Robertson presiding.
