

Marilyn had many jobs throughout her life, she worked at Chan’s Restaurant, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart and Superstore Garden Center. In her younger years, Marilyn was a member of the Digby Curling Club. She enjoyed painting around the house, playing the guitar and writing music. She also loved cooking, camping and looking after her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Beverly O’Neil and Heather (Tom) Robertson; sons Philip (Mary) Robertson, Paul (Deborah) Robertson, Peter (Stacy) Robertson, Richard (Karen) Robertson and step son Charlie Swan. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; Melanie, Nathan, Kimberley, Jennifer, Jessica, Brianne, Tabitha, Tyler, Tarah, Kolin and Kourtney; 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, Marilyn is predeceased by her first husband Philip M. Robertson; second husband Charles Swan. Brothers Roy, Alison and Merrill “Buddy”, her twin brother; sisters Christene Denton and Geraldine Woolaver-Hedberg. And stepson Kelly Swan.
A service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Digby Fire Department. A special Thank You to the staff at Digby General Hospital, Digby/Clare Home Support Agency, VON, Kenny MacAlpine, Dale Morrell, Sheila Cottreau, Sylena VanTassel, Richard Robertson and family.
