Morton, Myrtle Louise – Age 103 of Creston, B.C, formally of Centreville, Digby Co, passed away April 23, 2017. Born in Rossway, she was 1 of 13 born to the late Ralph and Effie (Raymond) Nesbitt. She enjoyed canning and making pickles; she loved her cats, roses and playing cards. Myrtle is survived by son, Charles (Frances) Morton; daughters, Effie (Bert) Little, Janet (Jack) Raymond/Larson, Mary Ann (Jim) Paulsen; grandchildren, Sundie, Dean, Craig, Michael; step-granddaughter, Marnie; great-granddaughter, Danielle; sister, Mary Decker; brother, Curtis Nesbit. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Darrell Morton and her other siblings. Visitation will be 10am-11am followed by funeral service at 11am on Wednesday May 3rd from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (902-245-2525). Pastor Linda DeMone will preside. Reception will follow after the service. Interment in Union Burial Ground, Lake Midway. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
