It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Robert Douglas Joseph Harris, announce his passing on Friday March 10, 2023, at home. Born in Toronto on October 7, 1937, he was a son of the late Joseph Walter Harris and Eve Matilda (Blount) Harris. Robert worked at Digby General Hospital (1970’s), Tideview Terrace (1980’s) before opening his own store “Digby Harbour Stationary in the (1990’s). Robert (Bob) will be forever remembered by his wife of 66 years, Jean (O’Neil) Harris, sons Robert Allen Harris and William Randy Harris, both of Digby and brother Kenneth Walter Harris, Toronto. Robert was a “Life Long “ Toronto Maple Leafs Fan and also loved his gingersnap cookies “Big Time”.
