Ross (Murphy), Sandra Faye – 63 of Digby. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on June 17, 2010. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Stark) Murphy. Sandra worked for Department of Community Services for 24 years. She was a member of the Culloden Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed scrapbooking, walking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Tim) Gunn, grandchildren, Melanie, Ryan and Avery; sisters, Carol (Weldon) Pierce; Marilyn (Fred) Sheppard, and Brenda Foster; brothers, Robert (Sue) Murphy and Robie (Lori) Murphy; six nieces and seven nephews. Visitation will be 7-9 Monday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby (245-2525) where the funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday, Pastor Chuck Daniels presiding. Interment in the Union Cemetery of Culloden. Family flowers only. Donations in Sandra’s memory can be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Union Cemetery of Culloden.
